Bio
Jenny Quynn did her undergraduate work at Washington State University and then joined the Peace Corps, teaching math in Mahalapye, Botswana. She completed her master’s degree in Education at Towson University while teaching for Baltimore City Public Schools. In Baltimore, Jennifer consulted for Johns Hopkins Center for Technology in Education (CTE) and Baltimore City Community College, training teachers in formative assessment, developing technology, curricula, and program improvement methods.
Upon returning to the Pacific Northwest, Jenny worked for the Puget Sound Educational Service District, supporting student teachers to define their practices through assessment and evaluation methods. Jenny completed her doctorate in Educational Psychology with a focus on Measurement, Statistics, and Research Design at the University of Washington, teaching Assessment for the Teacher Education Program (TEP) She conducted her research in Singapore and Seattle.
Dr. Quynn has consulted for Nintendo of America, Pearson, Western Area Power Administration, University of California, and University of San Francisco. She applies her psychometric training to develop new measurement tools and for business insights and program improvement. She has consulted on a variety of grants and for a number of organizations including Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good, Islandwood, and the National Geographic Society.
Jenny Quynn started Zoetic Evaluation to empower organizations to realize their goals through measurement principles, research, and teaching.
